Job Responsibilities:
- Validates patient and medical provider demographic information including selecting the correct medical provider by specialty for healthcare services.
- Create letters and reviews to validate they are going to correct providers/patients.
- Accounts accurately for personal production and production report that includes outcome data such as request, duplicative transactions, and closed transactions.
- Compose brief sentences/paragraphs from referral/authorizations orders and prepare correspondence in business letter format to provide clinical information to providers.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6 months experience in production/data entry environment performing alpha and numeric data in a health care related organization.
- 6 months experience with Medical Terminology or completion of a Medical Terminology course within the last 2 years.
